Timothy Jay Maines II is a professional trombonist, experienced educator and a social media expert in the New Haven area. He has been found performing with various ensembles such as the Chicago Symphony, Pacific Music Festival Orchestra, Richmond Symphony, Music Academy of the West and the New World Symphony.

Over the years he has become a social media influencer. He currently has 195,000 followers on TikTok, 165,000 followers on Youtube and 105 thousand followers on Instagram. He recently created a successful ad with Brasswitch featuring New York Metropolitan Opera's trombonist Weston Sprott and New York Philharmonic's Joseph Alessi generating a significant uptick in sales. He also was a social media consultant for the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara California.
Aside from trombone and social media, Mr. Maines engages in a variety of activities such as playing video games with friends, swing dancing, studying languages, and exploring the great outdoors. Mr. Maines is currently earning a Master's in Musical Arts at Yale University.
